A message from Foundry on COVID-19

At Foundry, championing creatives and creative business is at the heart of everything we do and we will continue to support our customers the best we can during these uncertain times

As Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to impact our industry, we want to ensure that our users and partners continue to have access to our software and services in the safest way.

Here are some of the measures we have put in place to support you:

Business continuity

We recently made the decision to close all Foundry offices and move our staff to a work-from-home model. We have taken all the necessary actions to ensure full business continuity, and we do not foresee any negative impact on our support service.

Remote working with Foundry software

We recognise that many of our customers are currently transitioning their artists to remote working. We have recently published this article to explain the options available. For most studios, the quickest and simplest solution is to use a VPN which requires no change to their Foundry licensing.

Free access to Foundry software

To help companies who may be experimenting with new infrastructure or artists learning new software, we have reset our trial database, meaning you can now access a new 30-day trial for all products, independent of the date of your last trial. We also continue to offer unlimited non-commercial use of Nuke and Mari. For any students who are unable to attend school and can no longer access school facilities, we also offer a year of free access to Nuke, Modo, Mari and Katana.

Online events

With some large trade shows now cancelled, we have adjusted the events we had planned for the first half of the year. We’ll be switching many of these presentations to online events and webinars - a process which has already begun in APAC, and you can expect more details for America and EMEA in the coming weeks.
