In this tutorial ‘Modo for Industrial Design’, Lauren Thomas takes you through the entire process to model and render a handheld wireless two-way radio. Starting from a design sketch, the model is built up using a freeform method that allows for quick development and iteration. During the process Lauren touches on many powerful modeling techniques, and shows how to best utilize Mesh Fusion to speed up and simplify the creation of complex meshes. The tutorial concludes with the surfacing and rendering of the completed model for presentation and approval purposes. The training includes 4 hours of instruction with 8 video lessons you can follow along with. Also includes in-progress scene files and all the necessary image maps.
