Nuke 17.0, Foundry’s powerful compositing tool, wins a Product of the Year award at 2026 NAB Show

Foundry announced today that Nuke 17.0 has been awarded a Product of the Year award at the 2026 NAB Show. The awards program, which took place in Las Vegas 18-22 April, recognizes some of the most innovative and promising new products and technologies across exhibitors.
Nuke 17.0, released in February 2026, represents one of the most significant evolutions for the powerful compositing toolset.
Features shipped include native Gaussian Splat support, a new 3D system based on USD, expanded machine learning capabilities – and more – to advance modern compositing workflows, and better meet the needs of artists and studios.
Chris Wetherly, Senior Product Manager, Nuke, says: “Winning an NAB Product of the Year award is testament to our commitment in evolving Nuke, delivering features that empower artists with unprecedented creative control. This award recognizes our focus on developing high-performance, future-ready tools that solve the most complex compositing challenges in production today, and tomorrow.”
NAB Show Product of the Year Award winners were selected by a panel of industry experts in 16 categories and announced in a live awards ceremony at NAB Show on April 22. To be eligible for an award, nominated products had to come from companies exhibiting at the 2026 NAB Show and be delivered within the 2026 calendar year.
