I flip-flopped multiple times between the IBK and Keylight. If I were to do it today with the new machine learning tools, I’d have also been switching between Background Matting and MODNet.

SUMMARY The Keylight User Guides mention that tutorial images can be downloaded from the Foundry website but these assets are no longer available from the current website. 

MORE INFORMATION Sometimes The Foundry plugins for After Effects, such as Keylight and CameraTracker can become unstable as they can be very hardware intensive. 

This can happen when using in-built plug-in nodes such as Kronos, Keylight or OFlow and some NukeX features such as FurnaceCore and will only happen with floating licenses.

Mattes There are 4 mattes in Keylight. 1.   Screen Matte 2.   Inside Mask 3.   Outside Mask 4.   Alpha (Composite Alpha) The Screen Matte is generated by the Keylight algorithm after the screen color has been picked.

Advanced Keying The following section describes how Keylight works under the hood as well as the parameters you need to fine tune keys and get the most out of Keylight. Basic parameters covered previously may also be covered here in more detail.

The Screen Replace instructs Keylight how to deal with such pixels. The Status displays which pixels use a replace method.

Now it is probably safer to use the Keylight GPU (if we can call it that) the Chromakeyer node. Doing so should not lead to the errors that usually come randomly from the Keylight. I hope it helps.

HI there When you are using keylight you're pulling a ok key but you need a garbage mask to preserve the plants.
