Modo Subscription

With annual subscription for Modo, you can get easy, affordable access to the latest version of Modo. 

Get in the game for less upfront: choose between paying your annual fee by low monthly installments, or save even more by paying your full year’s subscription in advance. 

Modo Perpetual With Maintenance

New or additional Perpetual licenses of Modo come with your first year of maintenance included.

If you currently own an existing perpetual license of Modo and are looking to upgrade, you can use this option to upgrade your existing license to the latest release with a year of maintenance.

Modo Enterprise

For larger businesses with multiple users, we offer flexible licensing and access to premium support, training and consulting services.

Login-based licensing requires that you connect to the internet at least once every 30 days.

Subscription license terms

Use of the application is limited to the Initial Subscription Period and any/all Auto-renewal Periods.

Whether you choose to pay monthly or upfront, the subscription term is for a period of one year.

While your subscription remains valid you will receive all new versions and updates.

Each subscription license includes maintenance and is set to renew automatically after the one-year term. There is an option to stop auto-renewal at any time up to 72 hours prior to the expiry of the term.

If you let your subscription lapse, you will no longer be able to use the software until you choose to purchase a new subscription.

Canceling (paid monthly or annually)

Provided you have not installed Modo, you may cancel your subscription within 14 days of the original purchase for a full refund.

After 14 days of your original purchase there is no option to cancel, but you can stop your auto-renewal as set out in these FAQ.

Once you install Modo you give up your right of cancellation.

Opting out of auto-renewal

You can stop the auto-renewal of your Modo Subscription license by logging into the My Account area of the website and pressing the cancel button next to the appropriate entry.

If you stop auto-renewal, once your term expires you will need to purchase a new subscription to continue to use Modo.

The maintenance contract term is for a period of one year.

Lapsed maintenance

If your maintenance contract has lapsed, your license and install will continue to work.


You will need to purchase a new maintenance term to continue to use future product updates and releases of Modo. 


Access to additional maintenance entitlements (including beta programs and product support) will stop..

Once your maintenance lapses, you will no longer be eligible for the reduced maintenance rate of - USD $416 | GBP £359 | EUR €379.

The renewal cost of an expired maintenance agreement is - USD $629 | GBP £519 | EUR €569, and would continue to renew at the going rate thereafter.
