NukeX & Nuke Studio monthly subscriptions

The artists’ favorite VFX tools, now with flexible pricing

NukeX and Nuke Studio monthly subscriptions are available for growing VFX studios located beyond the core VFX hubs. With a lower upfront investment for studios starting out or growing, our new subscriptions give you the flexibility to cancel anytime when working on short-term projects.

What do I get?

  • AFFORDABLE PRICING

With a monthly license model, you can save on upfront costs, making it easier to integrate these industry-standard tools into your studio.
  • NO USAGE RESTRICTIONS

Unlike a Nuke Indie or non-commercial license, the monthly subscription has no usage restrictions or functional limitations — so you have unlimited use, at an affordable price.
  • FLEXIBLE CANCELLATION

The monthly subscription option gives you the freedom to cancel at any time. So if you’re working on short term projects, you can end your license for the following month as soon as your work is finished.
  • FREE DESKTOP REVIEW TOOL

With every NukeX subscription, you’ll also receive a free HieroPlayer license. The desktop review tool integrates with the Nuke Family for playback, version comparison, and a shared timeline.

Eligibility criteria

For some artists and studios, the cost of an annual Nuke license has been prohibitive. Our Nuke Monthly Subscription is designed for creators who need short-term access to high-end VFX tools. This initiative is part of our broader commitment to enabling creativity and the growth of the global VFX industry. Due to this, we’re currently limiting the offer to those who meet the following criteria:

  • Artists and studios operating in select countries
  • New subscriptions only
  • Studios with up to 5 seats

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Nuke monthly subscription?

The Nuke Monthly Subscription is a flexible licensing option for NukeX and Nuke Studio that allows you to pay on a month-to-month basis. This subscription is designed for studios and artists who need short-term access to high-end VFX tools without committing to a full year. It renews automatically each month and can be canceled at any time for the following month.

Am I eligible for the Nuke monthly license?

You are eligible for the Nuke Monthly Subscription if you are a new subscriber with up to 5 seats across maintenance and subscriptions. The subscription is available only in selected countries in Latin America, South & Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Are there any restrictions with the Nuke Monthly Subscription compared to the usual license?

There are no functional restrictions with the Nuke Monthly Subscription compared to the annual license. A NukeX or Nuke Studio monthly subscription includes all the same features and capabilities as an annual subscription, without any usage restrictions or limitations. However, unlike the annual license, the monthly subscription does not include the two Nuke Assist licenses or the two Render licenses. Additionally, the monthly subscription has a license cap, available only for studios with up to 5 seats. This makes it an ideal option for smaller studios or those working on short-term projects while still providing full access to the powerful features of NukeX and Nuke Studio.

Why isn’t the Nuke monthly subscription available in my country?

The Nuke Monthly Subscription is currently only available in selected countries in Latin America, South & Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This is because the subscription is targeted at regions where the upfront cost of an annual license has been a significant barrier to entry for smaller studios. We are continually evaluating market needs and may expand the availability of the subscription in the future.
