Faculty license
Foundry offers access to the Education Collective for individuals developing curriculum at accredited institutions
- The Education Collective, includes: Nuke, NukeX, Nuke Studio, Mari, and Katana
- Free Faculty license — for instructors from educational partner schools with classroom licenses
- Paid Faculty license — for educators who teaching at schools without classroom licenses
- Discounted rate: $304 / £183 / €218
- Faculty licenses are annual only
Exclusively online
- Access to Nuke, NukeX, Nuke Studio, Mari, or Katana for instructors of non-accredited or online programs
- Must be actively teaching one or more Foundry products
- Discounted pricing provided upon approval

Who qualifies for free or paid faculty licenses?
Faculty members teaching at schools with 10+ active Foundry classroom licenses will qualify for a free annual faculty license. If your program doesn’t have Foundry licenses but you are a faculty member, you’ll be eligible for our discounted faculty license for $304 / £183 / €218.

Can my faculty Education Collective license be set as login-based?
Yes, please complete the license migration request here. Please note, that Katana is not currently available as log-in-based. If you have a faculty license that you are migrating to log-in-based, we will issue a Katana node-locked license so you still have access to Katana.
How do schools qualify as a Foundry Educational Partner? How do students and faculty get free access to individual licenses?
Schools that have 10+ classroom licenses are eligible for the free student and faculty licenses. If the school does not have 10+ active classroom licenses, students and faculty will be directed to our paid individual license options. Please email us at education@foundry.com if you have any questions about eligibility.
