3D UX Pivot Points - Nuke Newsletter

Introducing more options for adjusting 3D pivot points.

This tutorial will take you through the new way to adjust your 3D pivot points, helping you speed up your 3D workflow, and quickly reposition and realign your geometry. This includes rotating pivot points, and using the match-position workflow to move your pivot points to match the position of selections of vertices, making it much faster and easier to move them where you would like them to be—no more tumbling around the viewer to make sure everything is aligned!

Creating on-set VFX with Near Real-Time

Take a look behind-the-scenes of Comandante which follows the true story of an Italian submarine commander from World War II. The project developed a novel technique called Near Real-Time in order to meet the production constraints of the project and allowed for post-production to start live during shooting.

In this video, we dive into the project and what Near Real-Time is whilst also exploring the use of Foundry’s Unreal interop for live compositing, Cooke’s advanced lens calibration and metadata, and more.
